About The Author

Some decades ago, a college friend invited Thomas home for Thanksgiving, where he met her uncle, a boisterous, large-living man who regaled them with stories from his time with the Flying Tigers, a band of American mercenaries who flew fighter aircraft in support of the Chinese during the Second Sino-Japanese War as that conflict morphed into the pacific theatre of World War II. Later, while reading Rising Tide, a book by acclaimed historian and author John M. Barry about the Mississippi River and the great flood of 1927, a story started swirling in his head.  But Thomas wasn’t a professional writer.  He was an attorney and consultant who traveled the globe on business where, through decades of meeting people all over the world, he found that each one of us is really just a uniquely provincial variation of the same being. This idea is at the core of his historical novel, Chloe’s Mistigri

Thomas L Hall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Illinois State University, a Masters degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, and a Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas School of Law.  He lives on the Front Range in Colorado.
